The Dark gave birth to the very first multicolored non-creature card Dark Heart of the Wood (which was also the first enemy-paired multicolored card) as well as the first Common multicolored cards Marsh Goblins and Scarwood Goblins , some of the scariest looking Goblins ever
This gives Katara surprisingly wide scope for shenanigans within the limited pool of Ally creatures
Whenever another creature you control dies while Meren is in play, you get an experience counter
Only lay out noncreatures here if they're cards you're planning to play as soon as you have that much manafor example, you might play an Equipment on turn two, so that counts as a two-drop, but you're probably not playing a removal spell on turn two
Aid is exactly what this deck wants, Flawless is exactly that, and the Sword (as a Shield!) is a great addition
This is pretty great and an excellent outlet to spend your excess mana
