Sephiroth falls more firmly into the "death and taxes" camp than he does card-draw, gaining +1/+1 every time an opponent-controlled creature dies

Scions & Spellcraft is a decent deck out of the box, but between the four Commander decks, it's the one that will need the most upgrades to match the power of other Commander decks

Personally, though, I've long wanted to build a mountains-matter mono-red deck with cards like Koth, Fire of Resistance, but there aren't really enough relevant cards to make it work

Anubis is a compromise

Especially helpful if your opponent has sent all their characters out in one go

This deck plays 19 cards that cost at least five ink, so developing a consistent curve is paramount
