A nice double whammy is reanimating this card for cheap with a stacked hand and then casting Last March of the Ents, drawing you 12 cards and enabling you to put even more free creatures into play

And its a wizard that isnt red, black, or blue, which adds a nice bit of variety to my list

This is an excellent card in Modern or eternal aggressive decks

Casting, quickly attacking with, and then sacrificing a bunch of big Jund creatures is a great game plan, of course

The process was updated with Eighth Edition , doing away with the shooting star, and replacing it with a rainbow foiling effect
