Enter the Infinite | Illustration by Jake Murray An infinite combo is a set of card interactions, abilities or effects that can be repeated over and over until you say when. The combo could produce infinite damage, infinite mana, and some give one of your creatures infinite power
Tamiyo, Inquisitive Student / Tamiyo, Seasoned Scholar Starting as a modest 0/3, Tamiyo, Inquisitive Student creates Clue tokens when it attacks and transforms once youve drawn your third card in a turn
2019-01-25 The trigger event doesn't have to specifically refer to creatures. In these cases, the trigger event may also refer to something being put into a graveyard from the battlefield. For example, an ability that triggers whenever an artifact is put into a graveyard from the battlefield would trigger twice if an artifact creature dies while Teysa Karlov is on the battlefield.
As you cast your first instant/sorcery each turn, you can exile a random one from that graveyard of yours and copy it, and then you can keep on copying it as you cast more and more instants and sorceries and exiling more options at random
It might look like the blue player isnt doing much when they cast a mid game Frantic Search or Thirst for Meaning between bigger draws, but these cards are often the glue that holds together the burstier or more productive draw engines
In my eyes it could have done with some better trigger/free card draw as youre already having to color fix and tap out most of the time just to get permanents on board and often times you simply dont have the mana left to cast cards like Abzan Charm or Sultai Charm
