With Standard rotation coming very soon and the next announcement scheduled for November, Final Fantasy cards are generally positioned as they were planned by WoTC, much to my contentment
This card works very well in Commander decks that dont let the mana empty from the mana pool, like Kruphix, God of Horizons, or cards that let you untap your permanents, like Seedborn Muse or Wilderness Reclamation
All while inflicting damage on to your opponents from each creatures death trigger
Alongside gorgeous art that depicts the city both in its heyday and as ruins, Zanarkand features the Town type for land, which will be sure to raise some eyebrows
Teferi's last ability means that in order for an opponent to cast a spell, it must be that opponent's turn, during a main phase, and the stack must be empty
Whispers of the Muse (T1, Ext, S, Block) A favorite in "Turbo Xerox" (a blue deck which used minimal land but a ton of cantrips to thin out the deck), Counter-Phoenix (Shard Phoenix + Forbid) and Tradewind-Awakening (put Awakening on the stack, tap all your lands for mana, untap all your lands), Whispers has what might seem like a hefty price to pay for one card but you get to do it turn after turn after turn
