This card is good in weenie decks, artifact decks hell, its good in just about any deck that plays white

Sometimes this deck can feel like a numbers game, cause much of the deck is designed around getting to nine mana as quickly as possible, with access to all five colors, so you can drop The Ur-Dragon and then start attacking to trigger its attack effect

I dont know how closely squad is tied to the Warhammer 40k universe, but the mechanic is generic enough that I expect to see it again in a regular Magic set

A Mono-White deck will often include Esper Sentinel even if it's a cat or angel deck because it's just so good at what it does
