Of note, this ability is particularly unique for mono-white decks that dont usually have many ways to reuse instant and sorcery spells once theyre in the graveyard
There was definitely a period of time where I noticed my play patterns with the card were actively sabotaging my land drops later in the game, and during the early days of Commander, where big, splashy spells were king, I wrote Land Tax off as being more trouble than it was worth

This deck isn't hugely fun to play with or against, and while it's a noble idea to build around winning at any cost, it's just gone too far in the pursuit of the gimmick, and isn't very memorable as a result
