It's never great to give your enemies the option of losing life to save their creatures, but black has plenty of ways to turn life loss to their advantage

So in terms of collectability, OP08 did get printed heavily initially to meet demand which it has done so the price of this set is very reasonable at the moment

If you manage to Surgical away both Grapeshot and Empty the Warrens, they probably cant find a win, sure, but only getting one isnt enough

If an Adventure spell leaves the stack in any way other than resolving (most likely by being countered or by failing to resolve because its targets have all become illegal) , that card won't be exiled and the spell's controller won't be able to cast it as a permanent later
