The commander is Emmara, Soul of the Accord, and she synergizes very well with the deck's abundance of Token creating cards by creating a 1/1 Soldier Token every time she is tapped

Always negotiate in good faith and remembera fair trade is a happy trade

Half the cost and the baseline consistency of always getting at least one land makes this a decent amount better than Gift of Estates, though its also a $20+ card, while Gift is sub $1, so Ill let you decide with your wallet
