2018 SpearHead Chardonnay Clone 95 spaghetti Bolognese (Winery Tasting Notes)1This big boy Chardonnay has a very outgoing personality!!! Big, bold, rich with an unapologetic oak profile (40% new French), you will find a very expressive nose of peach, preserved lemon and caramel. Bright acidity, zesty lemon, wet stone and vanilla filled the mid palate before the white pepper and toasty brioche take over at the end. A soft creamy texture and a great complexity reminds me some of the great Sonoma Valley Chardonnays. 576 cases
