It's larger than most creatures at comparable mana costs, it cantrips with ravenous if you dump enough mana into it, and it exiles the creature it fights

Sarkhan being part of the dragon set was predicable, and Im sure some folks may not like that level of predictability: but he also opens up some options for building out dragon-based Jump Start decks
It also has some pretty solid synergies with attack triggers like Isshin, Two Heavens as One and Saddle works well with the new Survival mechanic out of Duskmourn: House of Horrors
Green decks are notoriously weak on fliers and having this one so cheap to cast and so easy to crew is a sweet tool to have in our toolbox
And I dont buy that every single card Wizards produces is meant to be played withdoes that standard apply to Heroes of the Realm, or Ponies: the Galloping, or the Holiday Cards
