2023 Primitivo, Cantele Great Wines The grapes for this wineCantele became a Salento Primitivo pioneer when it released this wine more than a decade ago. Made from 100% Primitivo grapes and vinified in stainless steel and then aged in oak for 6 months, this lithe expression of Puglias most famous grape offers aromas of black cherry, plum and spice. The palate is smooth and soft with delicious ripe raspberry and mulberry fruits, good acidity and well integrated tannins. A favourite pairing for a juicy burger.
