Card Text: At the beginning of your end step, exile target creature you control, then return it to the battlefield under its owner's control
Duplicates can then be used alongside Shinedust to obtain cosmetic effects tied to that specific card, which can be fun, but it is not truly an improvement for players
Another non budget card I am running is Chaos Emperor Dragon which is $30-35 a copy - you could run like an extra lavineer but it is not the same since emperor is a +1 and it returns itself back to the bottom of the deck
Unaffected by any of your opponents monster effects, except effects of monsters whose Divine Hierarchy is equal or higher than this card
The set was 'rushed out' regardless due to internal promises being made towards the set designers -- despite Magic 's primary team warning against it -- and was predictably lambasted by the fandom due to its disconnect ot its adjacent expansions as well as the abysmally low power levels
Collectors love it because it represents where the journey starts, card #1 in the Pokdex, and emotionally, card #1 in many childhood memories
