Gibson Thunderbird Bass Pickup Tarback 1970s 1960s this one is my currentNo sales tax for US customers outside California. This is a 1970s Gibson Thunderbird bass "tarback" pickup, offered here in excellent condition. The Tarback pickup is named for the "goop" used to seal the pickup into the cover a trait of Gibson pickups in the 70s and 80s. Please note that it's missing 2 of 3 screws that hold bottom to pickup.
