The silver painted metal is quite heavy and sturdy and could be cast iron or spelter. This item has a threaded bolt hole on the bottom, leading me to believe it was likely once a clock topper, furniture topper, or other decorative ornament. It is in good condition with antique wear, chipping, and patina throughout.
