MEDIEVAL EUROPEAN RING, 1000-1500 AD, SIZE 11 02/27/2024 The oval bezel incised withIconic form identified by Pollio (Ancient Rings, p. 93) as Baltic (Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania). Gilt bronze, size 11 with 2. 6mm flat band and lenticular bezel with four peripheral raised lugs and high relief central figure, perhaps a crouching lion, but undiscernible. Professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold overlay restored, for contemporary wear. Jewelry gift boxed with certificate of authenticity. Rare large wearable size.
