Two compartments plus 2 zipper pockets allows for logical separation of fire gear. Recently added are suede wrapped hand grips on each end of bag. Note: Web gear could go on the bottom and boots on top for those with rigid frame gear. A well organized and designed bag for your wildland gear when you don't need it
