VIKING COIL RING, 9TH-10TH CENTURY AD, SIZE 10 10/15/2024 in northern Europe and migratingGilt bronze, size 10. Circular section band in just over one full coil, to 3. 6mm width. The coil or helix was a favorite form for Vikings and evidently held supernatural significance to them. Textured from burial. Sound wearable condition and professionally refurbished with the 24karat gold surface restored. Jewelry gift boxed with a certification of authenticity.
