The plate features a reproduction of a painting by Vige Lebrun (1755 1842) titled Mme Vige Lebrun et sa Fille, which hangs in the Louvre museum in Paris. The backside is simply stamped Porcelaine dArt Limoges France. The plate is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or wear there is some streaking in the over varnish, but this is only noticeable when tilting the plate in the
