This helps you put poison counters on your opponents in the early game, so you can focus on proliferating them later and dont have to worry about connecting with your fragile commander again

Hitting with a 2/3 is fine, even if it is only a 0/1 blocker most of the time, it is not like you want him to be blocking in much the same way Gravecrawler and Carrion Feeder are fine
The box is good for a collection starting point as it includes energy to build decks of all types, booster packs, and accessories
For me, small things like that keep me looking for even smaller edges to be gained in how I sequence things, and thats good, results-oriented or not
