The colour and texture of bark on a dead grey  gum looked like a black and white border Collie dog

These characters were seen in that texture therefore the detail was added to bring them out

This artwork is created using my photo of a burnt out car

The bark of a gum tree had lots of animals in it

A photograph of the colours and texture formed the starting canvas for this artwork. It looked just like the froth in the surf and sea weed at the beach. That image became my creation.
